StylistsMaster Stylist - Trish Scott
trish's portfolio I received my cosmetology license in 1993 from Hermitage Technical Center. This was my springboard for the variety of experiences that helped build my successful career. In addition to attending VCU, JMU and numerous hair shows along the east coast, I have also completed countless workshops on color, cutting, skin care and makeup techniques with Aveda, Redken, Matrix, Joico, and Bioelements.
After working in Atlanta with Baccatto platform artist, Berry Sons, I returned to Carytown in Richmond to work at and eventually purchase J. Immel Lifestyle and Day Spa in 1996. In addition to being voted one of the Best Salons in 1997 in Richmond Magazine, it also spawned a progressive TV show on a local Richmond station. After six years of operating and growing a successful salon and day spa, I decided to switch gears and put my family first. I have enjoyed teaching other prospective cosmetology students at my alma mater, Hermitage Technical Center.
Now, as a proud resident of Goochland County, I am eager to put my extensive artistic training and education to work at Salon Karma, making your experience exceptional and unique.

Jeannie Staton
I received my license from Culpepper Cosmetology School. In addition to several hair shows, I have completed three color, facial, and foil classes with Redken and Schwarzkopf. Not only did I put my education to work as a hair stylist in Charlottesville and Richmond, but I also did facials, pedicures and manicures. I love what I do and enjoy making people feel better about themselves. I reside in Louisa and I am very excited to be working with my new family in Goochland, at Salon Karma!
Lauren Wray
Lauren will finish up her apprenticeship with us in October. She has been working hard mastering the skills of color, cutting and all hair services. Lauren now has two color classes from Redken under her belt and is really creating a style of cutting that continues to impress Trish. Lauren appreciates all the customers that have allowed her to make her start as a hairdresser a successful one!
Note from Trish: Lauren has done a fantastic job taking her career seriously as an apprentice. I highly recommend anyone to see her for a color or cut. Her eagerness to learn really keeps her on the cutting edge.
